Privacy Policy

Your trust matters to us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with and the choices you have.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

West Holiday Insurance ("West Holiday", "we", "us") is an independent insurance agency located at 6905 W 4th Ave, Hialeah, FL 33014. We help individuals, families and businesses compare and obtain insurance from several insurance companies ("carriers").

This policy applies to information we collect through westholidayinsurance.net (the "Site"), our quote and contact forms, and our communications with you by phone, text message, WhatsApp, email or in person. As an insurance agency, we also follow the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the Florida rules that protect consumers’ nonpublic personal financial and health information.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us. When you request a quote, send a message or talk to an advisor, you may give us:

  • Contact details: first and last name, phone number, email address and home address.
  • Details needed to quote: date of birth, occupation and marital status; information about your spouse and other drivers in your household; and vehicle year, make, model, use and current insurance.
  • The topic of your request and any message you write to us.

Information needed to issue or service a policy. If you decide to buy a policy, the carrier may require additional information that we collect directly from you, such as your driver’s license number, Social Security number, vehicle identification number (VIN), property details, prior insurance and claims history, and, for health and life insurance, information about your health and household income. Payment information is processed by the carrier or its payment provider.

Information from other sources. With your request and as permitted by law, carriers and their providers may obtain consumer reports such as motor vehicle records, claims history databases and credit-based insurance scores, under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider and security services receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you visit and the page that referred you. Our forms also record the page from which you sent them and the language you used, so we can answer you better.

3. How we use your information

  • To prepare quotes, compare carriers and help you apply for, purchase, renew and service your policies.
  • To contact you about your request by phone, text message, WhatsApp or email.
  • To help you with claims, payments, endorsements and renewals.
  • To protect the Site and our forms from spam, fraud and abuse.
  • To comply with insurance laws and regulations, respond to authorities and keep the records the law requires.
  • To improve our website and services.

4. How we share your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We only share it as needed to serve you:

  • Insurance carriers and wholesale agencies that you ask us to quote with, or that issue and service your policy.
  • Service providers that work on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, such as website hosting and security (Cloudflare), email delivery for our forms (Resend) and spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA).
  • Government authorities and regulators, when the law requires it, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our clients, our agency or others.
  • A successor business, if our agency is merged, sold or reorganized, subject to this policy.
  • Anyone else, only with your consent.

Because we only share nonpublic personal information with nonaffiliated companies as permitted by the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (for example, to process the insurance you request), no opt-out is required. If this ever changes, we will notify you first and give you the right to opt out.

5. Health insurance information

When we help you enroll in health insurance, including plans from the Health Insurance Marketplace® (ACA / Obamacare), we use your health, household and income information only to determine your options, submit your application and service your plan, and we protect it as required by federal and state law. West Holiday Insurance is a private agency; we are not the government or the Marketplace.

6. Phone calls, text messages and email

When you send us a form or give us your phone number, you agree that we may contact you about your request and your policies by phone call, text message, WhatsApp or email. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them, or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any product.

Phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared, sold or rented to third parties for their marketing purposes. See our SMS Terms for details.

We will never ask for passwords or full Social Security numbers by email or text. If you receive a suspicious message that appears to come from us, call us at (305) 828-5655.

7. Cookies and third-party services

The Site does not use advertising cookies. It uses a small cookie to remember your preferred language, and your browser’s local storage to remember the accessibility settings and the cookie choice you make. Some features are provided by third parties that may collect information under their own policies:

  • Google reCAPTCHA protects our forms. It analyzes how you interact with the page and is subject to Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
  • Google Maps shows our location on the contact page, and Google Fonts provides the typeface of the Site.
  • YouTube (privacy-enhanced mode) plays our video only when you press play.
  • Microsoft Clarity (analytics), only if you accept analytics cookies in the banner. It shows us, in aggregate, how visitors use the Site (pages, clicks, scrolling and session recordings) so we can improve it. It hides the text you type in forms, and it is subject to the Microsoft Privacy Statement. If you reject or ignore the banner, Clarity does not load.
  • Links to WhatsApp, Instagram and Google reviews take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.

You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Site will still work. Our Site does not currently respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no common standard for them; analytics only run with your consent. If we add advertising tools in the future, we will update this policy first.

8. How we protect your information

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) on the entire Site, access limited to staff who need it to serve you, and confidentiality obligations for our service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive information such as Social Security numbers through our web forms or regular email. If a security breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by the Florida Information Protection Act and other applicable laws.

9. How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services and for the periods required by Florida insurance laws and regulations, tax laws and our legal obligations. Quote requests that do not become a policy are deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed.

10. Your choices and rights

  • You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it when we are not legally required to keep it.
  • You can stop receiving text messages at any time by replying STOP, and ask us not to call or email you for marketing purposes.
  • Residents of certain states may have additional rights under their state laws. We will honor those rights as they apply to us, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

11. Children’s privacy

The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it. Information about minors (for example, a teen driver or a dependent on a health plan) is only collected from their parent or guardian to provide insurance.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new “Last updated” date. If the changes are significant, we will let our clients know through a notice on the Site or by other means.
