Accessibility Statement

We want every visitor, including people with disabilities, to be able to learn about our services and get a quote without barriers.

1. Our commitment

West Holiday Insurance is committed to making westholidayinsurance.net accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or technology. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), and we review the Site whenever we add new pages or features.

2. What we have done

  • The Site is available in English and Spanish, and you can switch languages on every page.
  • Pages use a clear heading structure, descriptive links and text alternatives for meaningful images.
  • All features can be used with a keyboard, and the focus is always visible.
  • Form fields have visible labels and clear error messages, and the quote form tells screen readers which step you are on.
  • Text and backgrounds are designed with sufficient color contrast, and the layout adapts to phones, tablets and screen zoom up to 200%.
  • Animations are reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.

3. Accessibility tools on the Site

The accessibility button on the left side of every page opens a panel where you can increase or decrease the text size, switch to grayscale, high contrast, negative contrast or a light background, underline links and use a more readable font. Your settings are remembered on your device, and you can restore the defaults at any time.

4. Compatibility

The Site is designed to work with the current versions of major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Edge and Firefox) and with screen readers such as VoiceOver, NVDA and JAWS.

5. Known limitations

Some content comes from third parties and is outside our control, such as the Google map on our contact page, the YouTube video player, WhatsApp and the websites and documents of insurance carriers. If any of this content is hard for you to use, we will gladly give you the same information by phone or in person.

6. Get help or send feedback

If you have trouble using any part of the Site, or you need information in another format, contact us. Please tell us the page and the problem you found, and we will help you and work to fix it.
